About ME:
I’m Matthew Harrison
I am an amateur photographer from Redondo Beach, CA. I received my first camera as a Christmas gift when I was 14 and had little experience with photography. After taking a photography class in high school, I realized how amazing photography was. There was a quote I found in high school that perfectly sums up my perception of photography:
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them”
Growing up near the beach, I took the sunsets and beautiful beach for granted, but this camera changed the way I viewed the world and allowed me to better appreciate it.
